The Economics Observatory is great for easy-to-read summaries of economic research. They have several excellent pieces on productivity, including:


These the UK's pressing productivity issue, highlighting its impact on wage growth and living standards. They identify the critical role of long-term government strategy across sectors like technology, education, housing, and transport in addressing productivity challenges. The pieces explore the importance of investment in innovation, education, and infrastructure, and suggests establishing a Growth and Productivity Institute to ensure consistent policy implementation for improving the UK's economic performance.
