This report from IAS has a very accessible summary (just over a page) outlining the distributional effects of UK alcohol taxes under the previous system If you are looking into the impact of the new alchohol duties, this might be interesting. If you haven't seen the IAS website before, the Cost of Alcohol to Society Factsheet is pretty useful for externalities, although the research they use is pretty old. This year we looked at pages 3,5,6 and 7, and then did this activity based on the chart on page 4.
