I love Our World in Data, honestly I could read it all day. It illustrates exactly how data helps us to understand the problems we face and is also a fantastic example of how to write about data.
I recently saw this graphic posted on twitter, which provides some cracking evaluation for the plastic bag charge.
The whole Plastic Pollution article is brilliant, but I also like the FAQs on Plastics. It would be fairly easy to divvy the students up and give them a question each to look at and prepare a slide summarising the answer.
