This is from Economics in Ten podcast, season three, episode one. Friedman is one of the most influential economists of the 20th century and this is one of the more substantive episodes of the series. It covers monetarism, the natural rate of unemployment, the permanent income hypothesis, and Friedman’s case against Keynesian demand management. His ideas are directly spec-relevant and important for evaluation: the monetarist critique of fiscal policy is a key counter-argument for macro students to have in their toolkit. There’s also discussion of how his ideas translated into political influence under Thatcher and Reagan. Accessible and directly useful for students covering macroeconomic policy: the monetarist position on inflation and demand management is important evaluation material.  Listen here
