LSE Generate & Crimson Education: Global Innovation Challenge (LGIC) 2026

I've found this one a little late unfortunately! Regular registration is already open, with final entries due 4 August 2026, so likely that many won't be able to enter this year, but worth an eye for next year. Also potentially worth looking at for an authentic audience for an off-timetable day with younger year groups. LSE Generate, the entrepreneurship hub at LSE, runs this fully virtual challenge with Crimson Education, asking teams of two to four (or individuals) to design a scalable solution to a real-world problem framed around one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Students aged 13 to 18 anywhere in the world can enter, including Year 9s who haven't yet turned 13 and gap-year leavers not enrolled at university. The format suits enterprise and business content well: students have to work through a problem, a market and a viable solution rather than just pitch an idea. Accessible to all students, free to enter, and a solid personal-statement line for anyone considering economics, business or entrepreneurship at university. Register here
