A really fab article for creative destruction, structural unemployment and labour markets! This Economics Observatory article looks through historical examples of tech change across different countries to see if there's a precedent for large-scale and sustained unemployment following a technological change. It comes highly recommended because it can be used across micro and macro and hopefully helps to inform some evaluation. I've made a notes frame to make it an easy activity to set for homework or for a cover lesson.
