The Bank of England is hosting a free one-day teacher conference for those delivering A-level Economics in UK schools and colleges on 24 June 2026 from 10:00 to 15:50 at Aston University.

The conference will explore a range of key economic issues, topics and debates that are relevant to the A-level curriculum and designed to support classroom teaching. The day will include talks from guest speakers, breakout sessions linked to important curriculum topics, and opportunities to meet representatives from the main examining bodies. There will also be a teacher fair featuring organisations that support economics teaching in schools and colleges.

Attendance is free, but places are open only to teachers working in UK-based schools and colleges. To ensure that as many institutions as possible can attend, the organisers may limit the number of participants from any single school or college.

The full conference programme will be released in April, and registered attendees will then be invited to select their preferred breakout sessions. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
